Make sure your kids have a memorable season to avoid hundreds of “I’m bored” refrains! We have discovered ten of the most thrilling activities to engage in within and in the vicinity of Ontario’s capital. Please scroll down to view all of them.

The Rec Room

Get ready for an overwhelming experience of the senses! The Rec Room is a unique recreational area that accommodates both adults and children, conveniently situated near the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, and Ripley’s Aquarium. The main attraction for young children is the collection of over 80 arcade games, ranging from racing games to roller coaster simulators and everything in between. (Note: Similar to many arcades, it is probable that your children will encounter shooter games as they go around.)

After you’ve had your fill of gaming or your pre-loaded card has run out of credits, grab a bite to eat at THREE10, The Rec Room’s restaurant. They serve delicious Canadian-inspired food, have 20 beers on tap for you and your friends, and have a kid-friendly menu that is surprisingly good.

Subsequently, older children can partake in a game of table tennis as their parents engage in a game of billiards. If your children are aged 10 and above, conclude the tour by engaging in The Rec Room’s virtual reality encounter.

Toronto Zoo

There are numerous activities available at the Toronto Zoo throughout the summer, including the Conservation Carousel and Splash Island, a large splash pad where children may refresh themselves.

On your walk in, stop by the Parks Canada Front Courtyard Kiosk so your kids may pick up an Xplorers Booklet, which has entertaining activities to help them learn about the Canadian animals at the zoo. By obtaining a comprehensive booklet, you will receive a unique souvenir from Parks Canada.
